Mobile numbers are stored on the user’s profile. SMS is not enabled until the user chooses Contact Preference Text or Both, checks the agreement box below (unchecked by default), and saves.

Message flow summary

  1. User signs in to the RDE app with their own account.
  2. User opens My Profile from the app menu.
  3. Contact Preference defaults to Email (or None). Imports never enable SMS.
  4. User selects Text or Both, reads the disclosure above, and must check the consent box (unchecked by default).
  5. On Save, RDE records SMS consent method InApp and may send operational milestone reminder texts to that mobile number.
  6. Opt out: reply STOP, reply HELP for help, or change preference in My Profile.
